< Composition for Objective Sound No. 7 > is a work that creates an ‘ecosystem made of sound’ by the self-moving shapes of sounds communicating with the audience. Entering a dark space, a ‘sound object’ with an abstract figure containing information such as pitch, tone, and volume floats on the screen. This sound object interacts with the audience and creates various flows. In addition, the white square that appears as it moves its location on the screen reads the sound object that enters the frame, making the sound resonate. Unlike a sheet of music composed of fixed notes, the flow of self-moving sound objects becomes a sheet of music that expands infinitely through a mirror. The audience will face an ecosystem of sound by manipulating the tablet screen installed in the center to change the flow of sound objects in real time.
< 소리 오브젝트를 위한 구성 제 7번 >은 소리 오브젝트의 주체적인 흐름과 관람객의 상호작용으로 형성되는 흐름 사이에서 예측 불가능한 연주 순간들을 형성하고 공간을 ‘소리 생태계’로 재구성한다.
소리 오브젝트의 소리와 형태는 소리의 정보 -음고, 음색, 음량 등- 가 형태에서 드러나야 하며 움직임과 소리의 발생은 예측 가능한 선에 존재해야 한다는 규칙 아래에서 관계를 지닌다. 소리 오브젝트는 주체적으로 공간을 유영하며 이따금 영역을 마주하는 순간, 소리를 읽어내고 형태가 반응한다. 이를 통해 기존의 오선지 악보가 갖고 있던 고정된 시간 선상의 일방적 진행을 벗어나 스스로 읽히기를 시도하거나 읽히기를 기다리는 소리 오브젝트의 무리는 소리의 흐름을 만들어낸다.
관람객들은 터치 입력을 통해 실시간으로 소리 오브젝트의 흐름에 간섭하여 소리 오브젝트의 주체적인 생태계에 간섭할 수 있다. 주체적이던 소리 오브젝트의 흐름과 소리 오브젝트를 둘러싼 환경은 간섭에 의해 변형되고 관람객과 소리 오브젝트의 소리 생태계는 관계를 이루게 된다.
공간을 유영하는 소리 오브젝트의 흐름은 거울을 통해 끊임없이 반복되고 확장된다. 이내 소리 오브젝트가 배회하는 공간은 무한히 확장되는 악보가 되고 시간 축이 비틀어지며 형성되는 유동적인 시간 선상 위에서 관람객들은 소리 오브젝트의 생태계를 조우한다.
